A public channel page carries its name, handle, ID, subscriber and video counts, avatar, and banner in its source; the channel's About page adds lifetime views, the join date, the country, and the full description. This tool fetches both pages and reads those values directly, then derives channel age from the join date and average views per video from the totals. No YouTube API key is involved, and both pages are cached for 24 hours so re-checking a channel is instant.

How this works
Frequently asked questions
Why is the subscriber count rounded?
Because YouTube only publishes rounded counts. Since 2019 every public surface — the channel page, the About page, and even the official Data API — shows subscribers to three significant figures (21.2M, not 21,231,904). The exact number exists only in the owner's YouTube Studio, so no third-party tool can show it; this one reports the figure exactly as YouTube displays it and expands the K/M/B suffix for you.
Where do total views, the join date, and the country come from?
From the channel's About page — the main channel page only carries the name, handle, subscriber and video counts, avatar, and banner. This tool reads both pages, which is why a fresh lookup takes a few seconds longer than the Channel ID Finder. Both are cached for 24 hours, so a repeat check is instant.
Can I paste a handle, a channel ID, or an old /c/ or /user/ URL?
Yes. Any of youtube.com/@handle, youtube.com/channel/UC..., the legacy youtube.com/c/name and youtube.com/user/name forms, or just the bare @handle work. Video URLs don't — this reads a channel page, so use the Channel ID Finder on the video's channel link first if that's all you have.
How accurate is average views per video?
It's total lifetime views divided by the number of public videos right now, so treat it as a ballpark. Deleted, private, and unlisted videos still count toward lifetime views but not toward the video count, and channels that post many Shorts get a very different average than long-form channels with the same total. It's most useful for comparing channels of the same kind.
What does "About page unavailable" mean?
The main channel page loaded but the About page didn't — occasionally YouTube serves a consent or interstitial page instead. The name, handle, subscriber count, video count, and channel art are still shown from the main page; total views, join date, and country will fill in if you retry in a moment.
